I’m known as horse mackerel because of the legend that smaller species of fish can ride on my back over long distances.

What I eat
I eat crustaceans, shrimp, squid and small fish.
Where I’m from
Atlantic coastal waters, from Iceland to Senegal, including the Cape Verde islands, Mediterranean and Marmara seas.
Mature size
At least 12 cm.
